In the summer holidays, Noosa and Sunshine Coast's tech-loving kids and teens are in for another fun, action-packed two weeks of creating, inventing and having fun with the latest technologies. Peregian Digital Hub's holiday workshops are taught by some of the region's most talented teenage technologists and digital creatives (Hub Cadets).
January’s program will include new workshops, as well as a few favourites. Topics include: LEGO robotics for beginners, make games with Scratch coding, intro to electronics, make your own AI Assistant, digital art for iPad (Procreate), create 3D characters (Blender), video editing for beginners (Davinci Resolve), capture & create 3D models with your drone (BYO drone), 3D design & printing (Onshape), and even Build Your Own PC!
The full program will be available below by end-November (some workshop/ticket details will be added earlier, as they are received).
Workshops will be suited to kids aged 7 to 17 - check individual workshops below for their age guide and other details re suitability (eg. beginners, intermediate). Most workshops will require BYO device (laptop or iPad as noted).
